Oh wonders never cease....Maybe it's just me, but I doubt it, I am fairly certain that there are other parents out there who have trouble getting their young ones to sleep. Well, our new strategy is to allow Kylen to do whatever it is that he needs to do without leaving his room. If he needs to sing to himself, play cars, or even make a bed in the toy box, we allow this so long as he eventually goes to sleep. However, he has a new trick. He stealthily waits until he is able to sneak into the bathroom and steal the toilet paper. Yes, that's right. He doesn't play in the toilet or turn on the water or even turn on the light. He just steals the toilet paper. Now, I imagine you're asking yourself, what on earth for? Well it's simple. He enjoys tp'ing the bunk bed. Do you know what's worse than cleaning up toilet paper every morning? It's waking up to pee and the toilet paper has disappeared but you don't realize it until it's too late!! Needless to say, our rules have changed a bit. He now is able to do whatever he needs to do as long as he stays in bed!!
